With 3, almost 4, strong willed children, discipline has always been a struggle for me as a parent. Recently, my husband and I have been working very hard to be more peaceful, positive parents. Our daughter, Ella, has proven to us that this is a much more effective approach to parenting. The past two years have been very difficult in the "Life with Ella". We have tried spanking, time outs, and removal of privileges to only find us back to square one. We are slowly discovering that forming connections, having sympathy, respect, and compassion goes a lot further!
