Almost 4 years ago our family made the transition from processed, fast food to more whole foods. We started that journey by eating a gluten, casein, soy free diet. It worked for us and we saw improvements in every one's overall health. Recently my husband and I joined a crossfit gym in our town, http://www.prfitness.net/, that we LOVE! Not only it is a different kind of workout but they have also given us a lot of nutritional information. Most crossfiters (not sure if that is a word) follow a Paleo or Primal diet. Basically, you eat what our ancestors ate and what our bodies were made to eat; meat, veggies, fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Here are some great websites with a ton of information about the diet and yummy recipes.
